This week brought me a plethora of new music to listen to. Some from new artists, some from more established acts, but nonetheless, it’s been a great musical week.
These lovely Irish musicians have *just* signed to Glassnote this past week, and are well worth a listen to. They’ve just completed their first few US tour dates, and are heading to CMJ in New York for a few more.
And a live performance of Them:
Mumford & Sons cover of Alt-J’s Tessellate, it’s a few weeks back now, but still a lovely cover:
And since we’re at Alt-J, here’s their take-away performance from Blogothèque in Paris:
Then we’ve got Crushing Blows, with The People You Will Never Meet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAeQYJmpG5E&feature=youtu.be
and Feldspar, and Let The Time Run:
sneaking one last song in the queue… since it’s my father’s birthday today, here’s his band from the late 1960’s, Nobody’s Children.
